Västermalmsgallerian

The shopping center Västermalmsgallerian is located at Kungsholmen in Stockholm. With about 50 stores this shopping center offers a wide range of stores of fashion, design, health, beauty, technology and food. A perfect place to run all your errands in one place.

The purpose of Västermalmsgallerian’s social media activities is to promote the stores and restaurants in relevant ways. To place their products and services in an appealing everyday context to target the Kungsholmen locals.

My job as a social media manager for Västermalmsgallerian was to create content from start to finish. I was developing strategies, exploring ideas, filming and taking photos, editing, writing captions, publishing and managing analytics. Sometimes in teams, but mostly on my own.

Meet the Stores

When the pandemic restrictions started to ease, we wanted to remind the customers of the benefits of visiting a physical store.

Retail staff were asked to participate in videos focusing on personal service and welcoming customers back.

Home Delivery Service

When the pandemic prevented us from visiting stores as we were used to, Västermalmsgallerian launched a free home delivery service. To market the service, we created independent posts with every day life moments using products from the stores which you could order from home.

The Christmas Game

During an over all Christmas campaign in December 2021, I created a content breakout for social media based on the popular Swedish game “Julklappsspelet”.

A set of posts where you could find suggestions of suitable Christmas presents for the game along with a video of how to play the game.
